Tempus doesn’t know who you are and doesn’t want to. Your clocks are stored on your device and, if you turn on iCloud, in your own private iCloud database — never on our servers, because we don’t have any. Weather comes from Apple Weather for the cities you add, never for your location.

More room for every time zone.
Tempus 1.1 is a native iPad app, not a stretched-up phone screen. Your clocks sit in a sidebar and stay there while City Detail — skyline, weather, sunrise and sunset — fills the pane beside them. Time Converter and Meeting Finder open in that same detail column, so a full day of overlap finally has the width it needs. Portrait or landscape, iPad Pro or iPad mini, the split holds its shape and your selection stays put.

A searchable emoji picker
Adding or editing a city opens a real picker instead of a text field: emoji listed with their names, suggestions that already know the city you chose, your recent picks, and a search box that also takes a pasted glyph.
The whole sun arc
City Detail draws the complete sunrise-to-sunset curve — apex, sun marker and all — at every card width, instead of flattening off at the top of the card on wider screens.

Questions
How do I add a clock?
Tap + on the clock list, search for a city, then optionally give it a custom name, emoji and color.
How do I convert a time?
Open Convert, choose a source clock and time, or drag the scrubber. All your clocks update together.
How does the Meeting Finder work?
Pick two or more clocks, set working hours for each, and Tempus shows the windows where everyone is available. Tap a slot to add it to your calendar or share an .ics invite.
Why don't I see weather?
Weather is optional. Turn it on in Settings › Weather. It needs an internet connection and is provided by Apple Weather for the cities you added, never for your location.
My clocks are not syncing to my Apple Watch.
Make sure both devices are signed into the same iCloud account and that the watch app is installed. Opening Tempus on the iPhone triggers an immediate sync to the watch.
Can I use Tempus on iPad or Mac?
iPad, yes — version 1.1 is a native iPad app with a clock sidebar, City Detail beside it, keyboard shortcuts and pointer support. There is no separate Mac app.
